It has now been many years that Vans is the leading urban clothing company worldwide. The apparel brand needed to promote their Spring - Summer Collection to the spanish and french press.
The objective was clear, provide journalists with a unique and user-friendly solution, always focusing on the company brand image. During the past years, Vans collections for France and Spain were presented on paper and digital (CD) in order to display the brand numerous products. The creative challenge was to consider integrating different ranges, items information, images, prices through a great user experience.
In charge of the online project strategy and management, Resion suggested an easy and quick way to showcase the new collection to journalists, giving them the ability to communicate and unveil the new products to their segmented markets by developing two interactive and visually attractive catalogs in both languages.
In a week time the project was accomplished and the catalogs online, only accessible to press members with an assigned password.
The Spring-Summer collection was presented during the 2010 European Presentation in Milan where the catalogs received a very impressive and positive feedback from journalists, press members and other national Vans delegations in Europe.
I started to work with my dear friend Guillaume, founder of Clownfish Design, a web solutions company based in Birmingham, in July 2008. As a consulting partner I was in charge of the company overall business management and foreign markets development until March 2011.
In the beginnings of 2011, Guillaume and I decided to go on different directions despite the company good results so as the amazing experience we had as business partners. Today, we continue to share each other respective expertise through Resion and the company he founded in 2012 - Cotidia - still working together on various online projects.
During this time the company, successfully re-branded itself; launched two social networks; created various custom CRMs, accounting-project-booking management softwares, multiple E-commerce platforms; designed / revamped 30+ corporate online presences; registered an annual growth of 90% during three years in a row; grew a unique network of affiliates and satisfied customers in the UK, France & Spain.
Since the company was founded in 2012 as a new version of Guillaume's former business, CDL, I have had the pleasure to work with Cotidia on different online projects.
Thanks to our 6 years experience working together, we developed a truly efficient relationship where each one of us brings its own expertise to create a uniquely tailored online solution.
While Guillaume works on the more technical aspect of any given project, I act as a bridge between him and the client, making sure the company business model, objectives and strategy are seamlessly integrated to the online developments made by the design/programing team.
My first Spanish client while working with Clownfish Design, was an American owned Spanish company called Destination Global. In 2008, we helped them grow their online business presence which targeted congresses, trade shows & festivals in south France. Since then, the business has extended its services reach to include Barcelona and Hannover.
In 2011, I had the opportunity to work on defining the company's next business development step based on the established model that had been successfully working for over 5 years.
During this time, the company's owner and I couldn't stop talking about his business strategy and potential growth to the point that on January 2012, I integrated the Destination Global team.
For three years now, I have been in charge of the company's Marketing & Operations management in Spain, France and Germany.
